Film, Fall and Forever, R&S’s Fall Wedding
Surrounded by a million glowing fall leaves and their closest friends and family, Renata and Scott said “I do” at home. It was one of those autumn days that feels almost too perfect to be real and their celebration was so intimate, effortless, and deeply personal, the kind of fall wedding that reminds you why at-home celebrations are so incredibly special. Just as the clouds rolled in and a gentle rain began, we moved inside for their ceremony. Candlelight flickered, a close friend filled the room with soft piano music, and the entire space felt cozy and intentional.
Alongside my digital photography, I photographed several rolls of Cinestill 800T, (these are those images) a film stock that works especially well for fall weddings due to its warm tones and natural grain. Film has a way of holding emotion differently and these images capture exactly what this day felt like:—soft, cozy, and forever. Incorporating film photography into wedding photography allows for a timeless, editorial feel that complements emotional, low-light moments and adds depth to the final wedding gallery.
