A&A Multnomah Falls Surprise Wedding Proposal

Last fall, I had the absolute joy of helping plan and photograph a surprise wedding proposal at Multnomah Falls for Alfonso and Ali, and it was nothing short of magical. While organizing a weekend getaway to Oregon from California, Alfonso reached out to me and we began to coordinate every detail so the moment would be seamless. I arrived early at Multnomah Falls and blended in as a casual visitor waiting for the perfect moment. When I finally spotted Alfonso and Ali walking up to the falls, my heart was racing, right along with his I’m sure. Anticipating the second he dropped to one knee was incredibly exciting, and capturing Ali’s surprised, emotional reaction against the iconic waterfall backdrop was unforgettable.
After the big “yes!” and plenty of happy congratulations, we celebrated with a short hike up to the bridge for a fun, relaxed engagement photo session at Multnomah Falls. The misty air, towering cliffs, and genuine joy between them made for stunning photos and a truly wonderful afternoon. I loved being part of such a meaningful milestone, from planning to photographing the proposal itself.
